Lemon-Orange Cranberry Sauce

Fresh orange and lemon juices add an individual touch to homemade cranberry sauce. Serve it with turkey, of course, or everyday roast chicken or pork chops.


  • 2 cups (10 ounces) fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons grated, minced orange rind
  • cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated, minced lemon rind
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • cup sugar


    1. Mix all ingredients in 2-quart casserole. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave on high (100% power) until cranberries pop open and sauce thickens, stirring twice, 5 to 7 minutes.
