Thanks, Pete. I think Valentin has a legitimate complaint here. He pretty much led in fielding Win Shares all year long, and looked very good in other fielding factors too. For instance, David Pinto’s work with Range Factors (at [url=http://www.baseballmusings.com]http://www.baseballmusings.com)[/url] had White Sox shortstops ranked first in the league. He seems to be an unappreciated shortstop, at least based on this year’s stats.
